Research Scientist (Postdoctoral Researcher)

Applications are invited for postdoctoral position (supported by HFSP grant). The main objective of successful candidate will be to study extrasynaptic receptor mediated signalling and role of astrocytes in it.
The work will require the use of electrophysiological recordings and optical imaging in brain slices.
Applicants must have a Ph. D. or equivalent; extensive experience of patch clamp is essential. Knowledge in fluorescent imaging and programming skills are desirable. Starting salary will depend on ability and experience. Subsequent contracts, including revised salaries, will be determined and renewed annually, upon review, for up to five years.
